Quality Production Supervisor (Crowley, TX)

Regal Professional Services is presently hiring immediately for a viable Quality Assurance Inspector/ Quality Supervisor at/around the Burleson/Cleburne/South DFW area. This is a long-term, temp to hire opportunity with one of our clients that's in the plastic injection molding/manufacturing industry. We're looking to interview candidates ASAP. Additional information is outlined below for reference.

Shift: Monday-Thursday 6am-6pm (Flexible).

Pay: $16-$20 per hour or DOE (depending on experience)

Ideal industry experience: Manufacturing industry a must. Mfg. industry experience either in plastics or metals is okay.

Other must: Must know ISO and make up of ISO.

Computer skills: There will be a lot of paperwork, so this person must have Microsoft Suite experience and have the ability to write well.

Essential Functions:

  • QA Knowledge and Responsibilities

  • Direct audit activities commensurate to production schedules.

  • Establish priorities and ensure maximum usage of assigned resources.

  • Develop monthly reports showing inspection and audit performance and improvement opportunities.

  • Evaluate and recommend improvement opportunities.

  • Write up Quality Control Plans and be able to discuss them with customers. Show ability to determine quality steps and inspection requirements for new products.

  • Perform as ISO representative to head quality program.

  • Responsible for the Company training program.

  • Guide new team members through new practices and qualifications.

  • Interpret and support quality policies and implement guidelines to ensure compliance with quality standards and documents.

  • Must be able to identify and recognize inspection errors and initiate resolution.

  • Demonstrate a strong working knowledge with part prints and technical drawings. Identify title block, tolerances, change revisions, and size details.

  • Direct the use of the document control program to include training of new team members and existing team members.

  • Working knowledge of sampling. How are sampling sizes determined? How do we conduct random sampling? How do we document sampling plans?

  • Involve in team driven actions to help improvements.

  • Understand quality improvement, cost of poor quality, and importance of quality to our customers.

  • Have a working knowledge of QA Audits, to include how and when audits are performed. Understand the audit process and what tools are required for an audit.

  • Understand the charts and graphs used to document QA reports.

  • Have a thorough knowledge of the CAR (Corrective Action Request) system and be able to ensure verifications and validations are done correctly and, in the time, required.

  • Have a thorough working knowledge of tools used for QA – DMAIC, 5-Why, and FMEA. Lead a QA Control team in determining DMAIC and FMEA information.

  • Understand the SDS system, PPE requirements, and other safety tools.


  • Ability to read, write, speak and understand English fluently.

  • Conduct any other tasks as needed within scope of the Quality Control responsibilities.

  • Have a strong working knowledge with Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, and Outlook Email.

  • Understand ISO requirements and documentation.
